Was a tiring day but nevertheless, ssssiiiiiiiiooooooookkkkkkkkkk!!!! I sure hoped our pictures taken by our photogs atu lawa.. for someone yang nda brapa pandai kan posing romantic2 ani.. I'm practically "karau" modeling kemarin atu~ *coughs* Mudahan ja lawa jdinya *Amin*

That makes 11 dulang from Him and 15 dulang from Me.... simple2 aja barang2nya, 'well thought of ' asmarsbars put it.. :) Yeap, our hantarans were decorated by none other than aunty Hjh Rosni of Seri Hantaran and a few by my eldest sis. Had an emotional moment with aunty Hjh, turned out that she and our (me and hubby's) mums were friends back in the olden days. Zaman bujang2 dlu.. and especially mum-in-law, kawannya zaman sekolah~ I was fighting hard to hold back my tears when I see the shine in aunty Hjh's eyes when she found out about who our parents were. *sigh* Mum was pretty busy the day I fetched the Hantarans, else memang ... *speechless*sigh* nanti tah Ma ahhh..

Anyways, I remember telling you lots yesterday that I was gonna bake lasagna... well, quite unfortunate plang~ Else nyaman dh parut the hubby makan my lasagna~ The story was, intinya siap dh bebuat with the sauce and all..skali as I was about to heat up the oven sambil2 KAN do all the layerings~~ Apanah? The power trip *AGAIN!!!* (refer to my entry time tunang) hehe selalu th jua cematu atu kn.. just like earlier this year, coincidence?? *Alhamdulillah* sekalinya me and the maid check the power box.. switch it on semula, switch on the oven lagi.. triiiipppp lagi! On lagi semula.. switch on the oven.. trip lagi~ *sigh* By then I know, something is definitely wrong with the oven.. Soooo cancel tia baking lasagna~ Kali nda lama lapas atu, my nini datang kn memandikan me~ So yeah...~ Lagipun kan...if add lasagna jdi 16 dulangs tia kn? But wait... OMG!!! I just remembered, I added chocolates lgi? Genap jua masih no.nya tuuu... *sshhhhh* Ndapalh...janji Majlis Nikah yesterday selesai dengan sempurna and YES, SEKALI LAFAZ !!!*Alhamdulillah*

To my Sayang... nanti2 tah I bake for you the lasagna yea~~ *winks*

For now, my family and I still need to arrange the gifts for guests yg membadaki as well as the Dzikir ladies. :D (semua masuk Living Room tu nanti..), fixing of tents for Berbedak and Sanding reception, fetch accessories pakaian Brunei and baju Sanding... prepare makanan for orang dtg bedudun starting Friday, Saturday and Sunday a.m., make sure my MuA (for berbedak) arrive on time, the lanterns for decorations fixed, the berbedak tray and pelamin Basuh Kaki sampai complete with all the accessories ... insya-Allah~ Mudah-mudahan semua berjalan dengan lancar... AMMIIINNNNN

Hi hi people.. don't really have much time to blog today .. I'm practically busy with sorting out the invitation cards with the names :) It'll be out sometime this month.. depending on the how fast me and my Dad can get them done *lol*

Dearest Mum on the other hand is pretty much busy with the Sanding Day doorgifts.. ribboning and packing etc, etc.. u know the drill. We hav yet to get the door gifts for Berbedak function in the Evening.. :) :) *yayness* Anyhoos.. will do a proper update pretty soon... right abt now, woould like to wish a cousin of my dear fiancé .. SELAMAT MELANSUNGKAN PERNIKAHAN this afternoon :) Mudah-mudahan berkekalan hingga ke akhir hayat *Amin*Amin* The Sanding will be next weekend so I might post up the pic here hehehe.. dgn keizinannya lh tu ah..

Thursday
- FINALLY!!! I get to see the samples for my timber flooring... good thing I attended the CLEX exhibition @ ICC last time. Dapat jua special promotional price.. *sigh* The thing is material belum lgi masuk Brunei, so... have to wait for the materials to come in and then pay deposits and then suruh install~ *yay!!* By then prolly it's June.. and my curtains pun siap dh kli tu *hopefully*..so can ask them to pasang jua... mid-June, my furniture will come in.. or maybe end of June?

Friday
- Again.. FINALLY!!! Got my invitation card sorted out. Paid my deposits and Insya-Allah will be ready in saay... 2 weeks time? At least by early June nanti bleh sort out the invitation cards.. siapa yg d bagi full.. siapa yang inda.. to print out the guests names lagi... boh mcm busy June ani??

Sunday
- Celebrated Mother's Day with the family. My sis lanja and dear fiancé was invited. Decided to do my shopping for Kain Baju Melayu and Sinjangs for Hantaran and Alhamdulillah.. got them all at a very good and discounted prices!! ;) cool eh? And uniforms for the Gents in the family pun me dpt dah... so, that's sorted out~ *thumbsup* Shopping mode was definitely ON!! Hahaha.. rupanya Nazmi had a special promo for Mother's Day..patutlh semua 30-60% discountnya~ Got a B$133 kain spasang for just $50!!! Mana nda dear fiancé mcm.. 'Bah bali tia~ for my Hantaran..' hehehe iskiness!!!!

- Wedding rings are ready and so went to check it out jua today~ Lawaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! *sigh* I was in the 'moment' d kdai td atu... hehehe so we ask them to keep it safe for us until someday near to our wedding day :) :) '.. then we'll keep it forever..'

- We've the chance to go to this flower boutique at the Centerpoint (yg d belakang) Apparentlyyyyy... they have services for hantaran deco AS WELL AS modern concept pelamins! A little suggestion for those yg belum cnfirmkan their pelamins and hantarans k? But for hantaran..gangsa nda plg ada tu.. just hantaran deco and rental of pelamins and deco for halls / houses and bedrooms! ;)

As for me, everything is going on well and yes, well sorted.. mudah2an jua June/July follow-up sessions nanti going on fine.. insya-Allah *amin* Can't wait to see the finished products of my baju(s) hehe...

First of all, HAPPY 68th BIRTHDAY to dearest Daddy.. Mudah-mudahan dikurniakan tubuh badan yang sihat hingga ke akhir hayat *Amin*
We love you Dad!!

Today, i decided to go out and make bookings for accessories and pelamins. We have decided on where to rent them out. *yippee* The earlier the better...photogs lg brabis awal orang membooking, apath lgi pelaminan ani.. (based on my theory plang ni)

So yeah, got my pelamin for nikah, berbedak, bersanding and basuh kaki. *phew* Batah jua kami d kadai atu tadi..~ I have yet to confirm the colours for dais deco :) :) Need to look up on more wedding magazines!!

We too went to get some consultation for customised wedding bands. One shop is pricey than the other so we went for the cheaper one. Within the allowable budget. Alhamdulillah~ But we still need to think it over... at least 1 week lah ah.. guess, if nada halangan, next week will drop by to the jewellery shop lgi. *smiles*
Oh yes, to be fair with dear fiancé, I made sure I chose my ring which cost equal enough with his. At least adil kan?~ It's fun to actually be out with him doing all this. Shows me how really really committed we are toward this marriage thingy. No play, play ah this one!

Pa & Ma pun happy kan the fact that we got everything sorted out sudah.. slow and steady~

6 MONTHS AND COUNTING!!

My sisters and I will be going to KL end of this month, we're flying via Miri using MAS Airlines. hehe ticket murah bah haritu tat's why we bought it. Thinking of mbuat my Invitation card d sna.. hopefully...insya-Allah~ As for now, drafting sja dalam words. Making sure nada salah ejaan n such. I've been pushing my fiancé to get his done as well. In fact borang utk Nikah pun malar I ingati tu! Kesian eh kna pressure... sorry my cinta~

Lagi awal lagi bagus right?

When talking about getting married, the first thing that came across our minds would most definitely be wedding rings or band (whichever you all may prefer) ... well, ofcourse engagement rings lah jua to start with.

When me n dear fiancé went out scouting for the engagement ring last time, we dropped by to several shops of which we thought may give us good offer for wedding rings as well. We went to:

We actually have to set a separate budget for this one. Inda bleh di kacau ni... Personally, we would want our wedding rings to be simple yet elegant... tpi mesti matching. Just like the ones above lh, but there's still one thing I need to be sure of. Muslim Men can only wear what metal element ah..? (checking periodic table) haha teringat plang class Chemistry back in the high school years *lol* I know they can't wear gold... which means any rings made of tiny % of gold element sudah out tu, incl. white gold and suasa. So that leaves us with silver AND Platinum... dua ani th saja dorg bleh pakai... hmm~ will look into the matter krg...

The Day, Part Deux

Alhamdulillah~ the function went well... The electric power was back on just before all the guest arrive.
Ngalih jua ke sana kemari memasang aircon.. muka ayu pun merah2 nda payah pakai blusher!!! *lol* Malu jua saya tdi tym kna suruh masuk k living room for menyarungi cincin ah~.
All eyes were on me. OMG!!

But none the less, wlupun ada technical prob sikit tdi... Alhamdulillah, as of now, I am officially someone's fiancé ... Sayang, we're engaged!!!

"Operation Kahwin" has commenced.

The first thing we'll be doing tomorrow would be.. to go to our selected boutique and buat bju utk bersanding. We're actually renting out the baju from that boutique, just that with an extra B$100.00 we get to make a new n customised one for us, kira kami yg premier pakai lh~ Ok jua tu?? No??

At least, satisfaction guaranteed kaaaannnn!!

survey2 lagi!

Boyfie and I decided to go out for a little bit of surveying today but first, LAUNDRY!!
It’s good to start the day with a little bit of exercising. Menyasah nyentaaaa! Hehehe kursus suri rumahtangga ni secara tidak lansung!!

This Sunday will be my Ladies’ outing so kureng dpt lah kn menguruskan hal-hal kawin2an ani…~ Question is how to tell them ah? Malu alai~ Inda d bagitau takut krg dorg menyamal, I know a few that does… so yeah, whoever yg dtg esok… they’ll be the first to know. Not gonna tell them terang2 lh, prolly just ask them to come over to my place for a small ‘makan-makan’. Boyfie pun nda bgitau his friends tu…happens so jua arh his place dorang celebrate his niece’s b’day…so bleh cover up lh sikit (hehehe)

Right, preparation for your big day needs proper time management. As of today, my engagement day has been confirmed to 25th January 2009. Catering sudah set by my parents, ‘campur’ as mentioned earlier dh my sister bought the packaging for 200pax. Thanks to AkadNikah.com, I’ve an Excel copy for budgeting my expenditures! Excel is the most important thing ni, I have to do all my preps with the programme even for the invitation names tu nanti… speak of which, mesti start jua ni typing.. slooooowly~ Tunggu sound dari daddy baru th implement.

He has already asked me to print out our previous name list (bakas2 kawin my sis back in 2001) I was the Secretary that time, so I still keep the file.. untuk masa depan, nah kan.. now beguna tia!~ Baik jua menyimpan…

AAAaaanyway, tdi we found the 'gold' ring for engagement. lawalah.. nice n simple... klu org meliat tau jua org cincin tunang lah ah~ kna pikir jua mahal! *lol* we got it on discount of 50% then after Friday prayer…we went str8 to Myzura Gallery in Kiulap, quite impress with the accessories and baju2 they have there. Macam2 ada… they even offer mbuat gubahan for hantaran, now this I have to think through dlu (as sisters are planning to do the deco2 themselves) so we’ll see. Batah lgi tu! ;) We also checkout Nurul Huda Bridal, Nurhayana and Citra Idaman Boutique since it’s in the same neighbourhood. Can’t really decide which boutique yg me tepakai just yet… we’ll see.

At 3p.m tdi, met up wif boyfie’s parents d Giant, kan membali tempat nyimpan cincin for tunang~ Found them warna silver and gold *schwing* photos will be uploaded after the ceremony yeah?

After that we go round Batu Bersurat area just doing our usual roundings, sekali yeah.. why not, stop by arh Ruzz Pelamins to check out what they offer… not to bad as well. Hehehe + tempat basuh kaki dorg bisai~~ I loiiiikkkeeee!!! So yeah.. we’ll see on this one as well!

Banyak lagi masa but better awal rather than last minute right?? 7 months prep pun consider ok ni dah.. ada orang ONE year lgi!
