Salam dear readers..

The invitation card has been collected. Since the last weekend, all of us were sorting out the cards :

1. Invitations with all 3 events
2. Invitations with only 2 events
3. Invitations for 1 event

Got my list of names printout on stickers already and so far we (me and Dad) have manage to sort out few kampongs. I do the cutting whilst Dad gets to choose which name yg d bagi all 3 events invitations and which yg inda... 144 names sudah~ yeay! Will do more tomorrow insya-Allah... As for campur, for the time being I would say the cost of each item is within the budget and menepati Mum's wish *thumbsup* got for malam ready.. for siang sja lagi :)

Had a lunch gathering with my dearest friends today and got to hand them my invitation cards (awal? .. takut nxt month busy smpi nada masa kan bagi dorg and yes, cos they're my friends and I do wish to give them first hand!) June will be another busy month for my wedding preps, flooring peeps will come in nxt Sunday, then I can do cleaning up for my room.. lap2 sana sini especially the lampu dlm bilik yg sudah berhabok *ah-choo* then maybe the week after, I could ask my bedset to be delivered to my place.. yippee!! Ada katil baru~ but, but ikut style my cousin... nda mo tidur atas katil eh, pakai tilam and zzzz atas lantai saja *lol* Other than that, need to follow-up with my tailor regarding our baju for the 3 events. Bilaaaaa th kn fitting ani?? We certainly can afford to do much in July nanti cos it's HM's birthday season so yeah.. the whole month's gonna be extraordinarily BUSY!

Things to do in June :

• continue with labelling my invitation cards.. still have bandar, belait and 3/4 of Tutong lgi...owh, owh not forgetting officemates and staffs ;)
  
• confirmation with photogs (gather ideas for prewed and postwed photoshoots)
• installation of flooring
• to clean my room before/after bedsets being delivered
• delivery of bedset
• to put back all my stuffs back into my room
• netball / jogging
  
• get form for Jurunikah (end of the month)
  
• to confirm pelamin and colour concepts as well as designs
• fitting baju berbedak, Bersanding and Muleh 7
  (ani menunggu call ni.. mudahan jua by mid of the month..*Amin*)
  
• pasang curtains for my room :) Yay!~
  
• buy table lamp (found them sudah ganya blum I buy sal don't know where to put)
• prepare report for my work.. no, correction, report(s)

So many things to do yet soooo little time.... the clock is ticking.. tick, tock, tick, tock!

bridal bouquet

I remember in one of my previous entries in March, I mentioned about booking a ticket flight to K.L again? Well, I sorta cancelled that cos I decided to redo my invitation card in Brunei saja. Juz because of a 'miscommunication', I had to redo them all over again, but nonetheless, yes, Alhamdulillah~ BUT Mummy and dear Sis's flight is still on and at this very moment, they're in K.L woohoo~ Did tell my sis to get me some good Tudongs while they're there! ;) Jangan lupaaaaaaaa!!!! And ladies, please becareful.. I just received a text that 1 local is infected by H1N1 dh frm KL.. :x Mudah2an Mummy and Sis dilindungi olehNya *Amin*

Had a glimpse of my invitation card last Tuesday, it's almost ready cos tinggal melipat2 lgi and hopefully will probably be done by *insya-Allah* today latest Saturday~ (as promised) I like the finished product, macam waaahh.. nyaman jua rasa hati seeing them lah. Dear daddy's been following up saja 'Belum siap kad jemputan mu? Byk lg kn d buat ni.. sorting out jemputan apa.. menampal2 nama atu sekjp, ni nah, menyusun family by family ah..' heheh so yeah :D You most definitely won't be disappointed Dad!! Design of the card? Simple but elegant... as future sis-in-law would say it.. :)

Moving on to my preparation updates, you know when your other halves have that skeptical look as you enter Charles & Keith or Vincci or any other shoe shops? And maybe for those of you not in Brunei, as you enter TOPSHOP, Miss Selfridge, H&M or Primark?? Haha, I know~ that "Uh-oh, here we go again.." look, but when the shoe /dress fits you right and nicely they'd have the expression? the twinkles in their eyes and glow from the face? ...................................... EXACTLY the look on dear fiancé's face masa I tried out this shoe @ Shoe Lovers last week. It was to die for!!! The moment liat mukanya like that, I just knew I should buy them... "Ai lawa sayang!! U're gonna buy that??" "Bh ON!" (meaning, bh bali tia! hehehe)

I already have a flipflop for the solemnization ceremony costs less that $50 and now a 2.5" heels prolly for hmmm, the sanding? and can be worn lgi afterwards to attend dinner functions, weddings or hmmm.. raya? Or prolly special function with the hubby.. *winks*winks* kn sayang kan?

That's almost ALL preparations done except.... my bridal bouquet. I want fresh flowers. Yes, demanding I may be, I WANT fresh flowers for my wedding bouquet. I still haven't survey all the florists here cos I think it's still early and maybe lagi bisai if I do this in July nanti.. *sigh* pebaik th busy month for my work tu... dudidudidudidudidu~ In the mean time, I hav surfed through for various bridal bouquet designs and it's available HERE.

Honestly speaking before this I don't even know that there are actually different types of bridal bouquet.. rupanya macam2!! Personally I think yg more towards our Malay culture would be :

Now you ladies and gents know why I find it hard to decide on which style to make for my bridal bouquet?? Cos you see, it's not just abt the flower is how you arrange them.. as for me, my priorities would be, at least ada couple of roses OR just roses allover AND the flowers to be delivered to my place, instead of me or a representative picking them up due to handling purpose... so where oh where can I find such services? I know Maszalina Boutique does this.. as well as the florist behind the Centerpoint... I hav yet to go to Roz's Flower boutique in Serusop and see what they offer... hmmm, mana lgi florist d Brunei ani kn?????!

some tips..

Just merely updating the blog as I was surfing through google and found these...I was actually looking for some tips for myself jua. Had a conversation with the other bride-to-bes regarding 'belulut' before wedding last night, and yes, as we all know confirm bh malam before bersanding atu kna 'luluti' leh Pengangun.. so that's why I'm not bothered by it.. *lol* BUT as adviced mesti buat jua lh awal2... (mesti th merajinkan diri nee...~)

Other beauty tips which we should look into for BOTH male and female :


Monthly

Have a facial
(better awal lh ah~ baik jua bejaga2)
Have an aromatherapy massage
(this one th yg I haven't done up until now.. I think I'm gonna go a week before my wedding ne..)
Have a pedicure and manicure..
(if u can't do them urselves then go to the salon)
Waxing treatment <-- a MUST especially the wedding week! :P
Hair treatment (steam kh ozone kh.. whichever you prefer) <-- should be maintained until forever ni...~


Weekly

Exfoliate face and body... Belulut as well as SCRUBbing!!
Have a manicure.. if need to lh ah~
Conditioning treatment for hair (simply with our hair conditioners)
Facial mask (juz get those ones yg arh Guardian ah..soothing, really!!)


Daily

Cleanse, tone and moisturise..the face
Apply cuticle oil.. the fingers
Lotion...the whole body
Drinks lots and lots of water.. preferrably 8 glasses per day
Keep a healthy diet
Exercise at least 30mins

I have actually found a real article in a magazine but I somehow misplaced it.. ntah manakah hilangnya, it's one of those WANITA, NONA, JELITA mags I bought.. haih~ cuai, cuai.. but yeh,, will try to find that one and post it up here cos bisai bh isi2nya.. like 6mths before wedding..apa u shud do~ 4mths.. 3 mths.. and sampailah the wedding day... ugh!

Can't blieve I misplaced that mag.. *sigh*

Sorry to all for the lack of updates ladies.. or maybe some gents? :) :) I'm sure your other halves pun ada surfing through this blog, so yeah~

Since the big day is coming up in just less than 3 mths away.. well, I'd say it's 2.5mths away~ *gasp* I'm feeling rather much excited yet nervous at the same time...~ Met my friends from my Uni years this week, and mind you..only the selected few saja yg tau that I'm gonna get married soon.. and yeh, these are the few ppl.. hehe masing2 betanya sapa my photog and where I've decided to do my pre / post wedding photos. I'd like to express my thanks to the gals pasalnyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. yeah, I HAVEN'T ACTUALLY thought of that one *lol* Silly, silly me.... macam, ada plg tepikir tpi not really thinking it through and we're suppose to have a list places for photoshoots sudah ni *gasp* Mana bisai ah? ... think, think, think!!!!

Photography is also part of the reason why I want to have my wedding ceremonies at home jua (kes mau lain dri orang lain lh tu.. na mau sama background photoshoots *lol* I know, I know..) plus, keeping myself on a budget here. This home is where I grew up and this is where I'd want to get married and get my photos taken for my wedding.. take photo saja n have my function elsewhere is possible but theeeeeen mcm inda th ada that 'homebound' feeling. And as for pre / postwed photoshoots... errm, for post, still the very blank!

Prewed, dear fiancé ada gave me an opinion, and well, I sorta like it cos it's unique. So, prolly will definitely use his idea and hopefully it'll turn out ok. We're still deciding on which photog shall we choose to take our prewed shots. Hmmmm, decisions, decisions...!

For everyone's info, me and dear fiancé have our own different photog, both of which offered us good package with affordable price. Following dearest Dad's advice, we rather not spend that much $ for photography. "Buleh lagi ko bli yang lain tu lai... you don't need to pay that much amount of $$$ for photogs..." Partly true (though I'd want to take my photos like the ones yg d expo Mall haritu, i.e. not in the country), so I settled for the not so expensive photog but yet still give me good quality shots and offering the package yg I always wanted. For as long as they have what we want, we won't regret it. Got mine and dear fiancé's photog booked sometime in March. My sisters did gave me an idea of having different photogs for every events, cos my events ani 4 kan.. so mcm, ktanya why not go for different photogs, and i was like.. errmm... it'd be more expensive of somewhat?? And besides, 'too many cooks spoiled the broth' don't u think?

Alhamdulillah that me and dear fiancé managed to get our photogs booked for our events sudah. (Frm what I hear now, the dates esp. August atu full..? Byk org kawin..~~~) Insya-Allah, both photogs can give us their very BEST for our wedding ceremonies nanti. ;) ;) *Amin* Who ?? Tunggu aja nanti aaahhhh~

Thursday
- FINALLY!!! I get to see the samples for my timber flooring... good thing I attended the CLEX exhibition @ ICC last time. Dapat jua special promotional price.. *sigh* The thing is material belum lgi masuk Brunei, so... have to wait for the materials to come in and then pay deposits and then suruh install~ *yay!!* By then prolly it's June.. and my curtains pun siap dh kli tu *hopefully*..so can ask them to pasang jua... mid-June, my furniture will come in.. or maybe end of June?

Friday
- Again.. FINALLY!!! Got my invitation card sorted out. Paid my deposits and Insya-Allah will be ready in saay... 2 weeks time? At least by early June nanti bleh sort out the invitation cards.. siapa yg d bagi full.. siapa yang inda.. to print out the guests names lagi... boh mcm busy June ani??

Sunday
- Celebrated Mother's Day with the family. My sis lanja and dear fiancé was invited. Decided to do my shopping for Kain Baju Melayu and Sinjangs for Hantaran and Alhamdulillah.. got them all at a very good and discounted prices!! ;) cool eh? And uniforms for the Gents in the family pun me dpt dah... so, that's sorted out~ *thumbsup* Shopping mode was definitely ON!! Hahaha.. rupanya Nazmi had a special promo for Mother's Day..patutlh semua 30-60% discountnya~ Got a B$133 kain spasang for just $50!!! Mana nda dear fiancé mcm.. 'Bah bali tia~ for my Hantaran..' hehehe iskiness!!!!

- Wedding rings are ready and so went to check it out jua today~ Lawaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! *sigh* I was in the 'moment' d kdai td atu... hehehe so we ask them to keep it safe for us until someday near to our wedding day :) :) '.. then we'll keep it forever..'

- We've the chance to go to this flower boutique at the Centerpoint (yg d belakang) Apparentlyyyyy... they have services for hantaran deco AS WELL AS modern concept pelamins! A little suggestion for those yg belum cnfirmkan their pelamins and hantarans k? But for hantaran..gangsa nda plg ada tu.. just hantaran deco and rental of pelamins and deco for halls / houses and bedrooms! ;)

As for me, everything is going on well and yes, well sorted.. mudah2an jua June/July follow-up sessions nanti going on fine.. insya-Allah *amin* Can't wait to see the finished products of my baju(s) hehe...
